Account & Data Deletion

You may delete your account and all associated data directly from the mobile app at any time. You can also delete specific data items without deleting your entire account. This page explains both options, what data will be removed, and any applicable retention periods.

Deleting Individual Data (Without Deleting Your Account)

You can delete specific data items from your account at any time without deleting your entire account. All deletions are permanent and cannot be undone.

Deleting Profile Information

To delete specific profile information (such as your phone number, address, or other personal details):

  1. Open the CredentialRx app and sign in to your account
  2. Tap the ("cog") icon in the header of the Dashboard screen
  3. Select Profile from the menu that appears
  4. Clear any field you wish to remove
  5. Changes are saved automatically

Deleting Credentials and Documents

To delete individual credentials, licenses, certifications, or other content items:

  1. Open the CredentialRx app and sign in to your account
  2. Navigate to the content item you want to delete
  3. Tap the more options menu (three dots) in the top right corner
  4. Select Delete from the menu
  5. Confirm the deletion when prompted

This permanently deletes the content item and any attached files.

Credentialing Packets

Credentialing packets are automatically deleted no later than 14 days after they are created. No manual deletion is required.

Deleting Your Entire Account

To delete your account and all associated data, follow these steps in the CredentialRx mobile app:

  1. Open the CredentialRx app and sign in to your account
  2. Tap the ("cog") icon in the header of the Dashboard screen
  3. Select Profile from the menu that appears
  4. Scroll to the bottom and tap the Delete Account button
  5. Review the information about what will be deleted
  6. Type DELETE in the confirmation field to confirm your request
  7. Tap Delete Account to complete the deletion

Data Types and Retention

The following table describes the types of data associated with your account, what happens to each data type when you delete your account, and any applicable retention periods:

Processing Time

Individual data deletions are processed immediately. Account deletion requests are also processed immediately—once you confirm the deletion, you will be signed out and your account will be queued for permanent deletion. The deletion process typically completes within a few minutes, after which all deletable data will be permanently removed from our servers and cannot be recovered.

Consequences of Account Deletion

Please be aware that once your account is deleted:

  • You will lose access to all stored credentials and documents
  • Shared credentialing packets will become inaccessible to recipients
  • Your QuickDrop email address will be deactivated
  • This action cannot be undone
